Intelligent flight relates to functionality for General Aviation aircraft which is intended to help the pilot to operate the aircraft safe and efficient and supports mastering difficult or even dangerous situations. This includes the conventional fields of navigation, path planning or controls.

Energy-Efficient Flight

Energy efficiency is a key requirement for future aircraft. Therefore, sources of renewable energy are investigated to reduce CO2 and NOx emissions. In this context, we work on methods to optimize hybrid drive trains as well as on methods to exploit atmospheric updrafts.
