Modified Talon

The PW Talon was developed by Phoenix Wings as a transition aircraft and is equipped with actuators that enable horizontal as well as vertical flight. The modified UAV combines VTOL abilities with efficient forward flight.
The iFR uses the PW Talon to develop and test new control and allocation algorithms for transition aircraft, e.g. in the area of energy-optimal transition.
