Flight Control Theory

Systems and control theory is concerned with mathematical proofs for dynamical systems. At the iFR, we are studying stability, robustness, and constraint satisfaction of aeronautical dynamics as well as reliability, correctness, and verification of complex flight control systems. To that extent, we are researching and developing methods based on nonlinear systems and optimization theory. An important aspect hereby are scalability and real-time feasibility of control and analysis methods to flight mechanics problems.
